Minimum Credit Hour and Quality Point Requirements (Undergraduate)
All degree programs require a minimum of 120 credits and a minimum overall GPA of a 2.000. At least 30 credits must be completed to earn a major, at least 18 credits must be completed to earn a minor, and at least 12 credits to earn an undergraduate certificate. The majority of programs require a major GPA of 2.000; some programs require a higher average. This information is available from the department adviser or chairperson. To be eligible for teacher certification, students must have a 3.000 cumulative average in all university coursework.
