All degree seeking student must satisfy requirements of the general education program in effect at the time they first entered the university or when they are readmitted. For more information, students should refer to the appropriate catalog:

• Liberal Studies;
• Rock Studies 1; or
• Rock Studies 2.

General education requirements provide essential knowledge, skills, dispositions and perspectives should be completed as early as possible in a student’s undergraduate years (ideally before the completion of 45 credits).  If a student earns an NC in The Rock/Basic Requirement courses (those graded A, B, C, or NC), the University’s continuous registration policy requires that the student repeat the course during their next semester of enrollment if seats are available.
