SRU STUDENTS
Current SRU students wishing to take a course at another PASSHE university must submit a PASSHE Visiting Student Application with all required signatures to the SRU Office of Academic Records and Registration. Once approved, Academic Records and Registration will send the application to the requested institution, which will process the application and register the student.
Students participating in this program must pay tuition and fees to the PASSHE University they are visiting. Once final grades are available, the visiting institution will send the student’s transcript to SRU Academic Records and Registration to post the credits and grades to the student’s SRU record.
Current SRU students participating in the visiting student program must follow the visiting student standards outlined in the SRU Academic Catalog and the PASSHE Visiting Student Program policy.
Current SRU students wishing to take a course for transfer credit and bring back only the credits should review the Transfer Credit for Current Student information.
Non-SRU PASSHE Students
Visiting students requesting to register for a course(s) at SRU must submit a completed PASSHE Visiting Student Application to their home institution and obtain all required signatures. Once the form is approved, the home university will send the application to the SRU Office of Academic Records and Registration, which will admit and register the students. Students participating in this program must pay all applicable tuition and fees to SRU by the due date. Contact Student Accounts with any questions related to billing and payments.
Completion of the PASSHE Visiting Student Application authorizes the release of the student’s transcript to the home university once final grades for the courses are available.
PASSHE Course Sharing
Students in a degree or certificate program at any PASSHE university can access academic course sharing for specific classes across institutions. While taking courses at a different institution, students' financial aid and billing will remain with their home university.
Students who are interested in taking a course available through PASSHE Academic Sharing should complete the Course Sharing Application and consult with their academic advisor and home institution registrar or academic records office.
