Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Slippery Rock University's (SRU) University-Wide Outcomes ensures that the certification program not only imparts specialized project management skills but also reinforces the broader educational goals of SRU. Below is a mapping of the project management certification PLOs to SRU's outcomes:​

1. Effective Communication (UO 1): Students completing the certification will develop and deliver clear project documentation and presentations to diverse stakeholders.​

2. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving ( UO 2) : Students completing the certification will identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks using qualitative and quantitative methods.​ Students will demonstrate critical thinking to develop project plans that address constraints and stakeholder needs.​

3. Team Collaboration and Leadership (UO 7): Students completing the certification will Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.​ Students will further foster a collaborative environment among project stakeholders.​

4. Ethical Responsibility (UO 8): Students completing the certification will apply ethical standards and professional responsibility in project decision-making.​

5. Global and Cultural Awareness (UO 9 ): Students completing the certification will manage projects that involve diverse teams and consider global perspectives.​
