Elementary School Mathematics, Minor
SRU’s minor in Elementary School Mathematics is a strong add-on for degrees in Early Childhood Education or Special Education. Three of the required courses are already part of those majors, setting many students up to finish this minor with just 4 further courses. This focused math credential can help a teacher’s job application to stand out among the competition: it highlights flexibility, reliability, and potential for greater creativity and depth in teaching math to children.
