Fraud, Minor
To access Minor Requirements, please view the Curriculum Guide tab.
The Fraud minor provides instruction to students about the various components of internal controls, the types of security breaches organizations encounter, and the uniqueness of fraud in any organization. Students will also learn about the different types of fraud, and the principles of fraud prevention, detection, and how to assess for fraud. This minor will be of great benefit to any majors. All industries and organizations are susceptible to fraud, and the minor will be relevant to most careers in management, compliance, accounting, security, and administration. Moreover, the Fraud minor introduces students to the knowledge requirements needed to become Certified Fraud Examiners.
