Slippery Rock University

Sport Management, Minor

The sport management degree program at Slippery Rock University has received specialized accreditation through the Commission on Sport Management Education (COSMA) located in Arlington, Virginia, USA. In 2010, the Department of Sport Management was the first program in the US to  be accredited by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA), and in 2017 was the first program to be re-accredited.

Minor GPA: 2.0 or higher

  • Students must complete at least 6 credit hours in their minor from SRU
  • A minimum of 6 credit hours must be upper division (courses numbered 300 and above)
  • A minor shall be no fewer than 18 credits

“Prerequisites will be waived provided minor requirements are taken in sequential order.”
