PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Production of Problem Solving Documents - Produce documents that solve problems relevant to professional and organizational contexts (UO1, UO2, UO4, UO6, UO7, UO8, UO9, UO10).
  • Development of Research Strategies - Develop strategies for research and integrating the results of this research into various creative texts (UO1, UO2, UO3, UO4, UO6, UO7, UO8).
  • Document Adaptation - Adapt documents to different rhetorical contexts (UO1, UO2, UO8, UO10).
  • Evaluation of Rhetorical Values -  Evaluate the rhetorical values of writing using the theory and scholarship of technical, professional, and creative writing (UO1, UO2, UO5, UO6, UO7, UO8, UO9, UO10).

GPA Requirements

Minor GPA: 2.00 or higher

Minor Requirements

  • Students must complete at least 6 credit hours in their minor from SRU
  • A minimum of 6 credit hours must be upper division (courses numbered 300 and above)
  • A minor shall be no fewer than 18 credits.
