The Emergency Management minor prepares individuals for working in some facet of the disaster cycle and will align with any industry role since disasters can affect any organization. Being that disasters can affect any industry; this minor was built with an interdisciplinary lens. The minor can be completed 100% online.

Minor GPA: 2.0 or higher

Minor Requirements

  • Students must complete at least 6 credit hours in their minor from SRU
  • A minimum of 6 credit hours must be upper division (courses number 300 and above)
  • A minor shall be no fewer than 18 credits.
