Homeland Security, Minor

The Homeland Security minor provided a study of the skills needed to analyze and minimize threats from man-made and natural disasters. The curriculum discusses the foundations of homeland security, terrorism, assessing and analyzing risks, how to protect infrastructure and key assets, and the basics of emergency management.

GPA Requirement

Minor GPA: 2.0 or higher

Minor Requirements

  • Students must complete at least 6 credit hours in their minor from SRU
  • A minimum of 6 credit hours must be upper division (courses number 300 and above)
  • A minor shall be no fewer than 18 credits
