Becoming America
Becoming America Thematic Thread
This thread asks students to examine the vast range of artistic expression, natural environments, languages, practices, and histories that exist in America. Immigrant traditions, political and social institutions, popular culture, and a remembered past, have all shaped American citizens and continue to do so.
