Withdrawal from the University
Once the decision has been made to withdraw from the University, the student must complete an exit interview with a Student Success Coach. During the exit interview, a Success Coach will complete an electronic withdrawal form to begin the withdrawal process.
To withdraw from the university, students must schedule an exit interview by calling the Office for Inclusive Excellence at 724-738-2700 or by using Success Coaches booking links on the website: https://www.sru.edu/life-at-sru/diversity/inclusive-excellence/student-success-coaches.
During the exit interview, the students’ effective withdrawal date will be determined. The withdrawal date is considered the date of the exit interview, not necessarily the last date of class attendance. Contact the Academic Records and Registration Office at 724-738-2010 for additional information. Unless suitable proof is submitted, students will be withdrawn on the day of their exit interview, not the day they state they last attended classes.
Students who have left the university for whatever reason and for whatever length of time and are readmitted are responsible for meeting all graduation (Liberal/Rock Studies and major) requirements that are in effect the term they are readmitted, not the term they originally entered the university.
