Physical Therapy 3 + 3 - Therapeutic Recreation (BS)

The development of this 3+3 program will give Slippery Rock University students an additional option to earn a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) in six years rather than seven. The Therapeutic Recreation 3+3 option may appeal to students who have interest in a curriculum that combines both theory and practical experiences related to working with individuals with disabilities.

Students must maintain a 3.0 or higher overall QPA, may not have more than two “W” grades in a required course in the 3+3 block, and may only be in the 3+3 program for a maximum of three years full-time continuous enrollment.
